A Letter to the Bible

Effective way to communicate my thoughts and most especially my confusion to God

Dear Bible,
It shouldn’t be weird you’re hearing from me, I have a couple of things I needed to write to you about.
So writing is pretty much the most effective way to communicate my thoughts and most especially my confusion.
Bible, I understand every question and answer of humanity are in you…
So why do I sometimes pick you up and I find nothing? It is like words with nothing.
Is it because I am not as filled with the Holy Spirit like I should?
I wish I could just pick you up and see the accurate scripture that I need.
Most times, I have to google scriptural backings on issues of concern to me.
You are the channel between God and I.
Well, I hate to say this or I feel guilty about this but sometimes you can be boring.
The good part about you is that when I finally find that scripture for me in you, I fall in love with you and after a while, I drop you again.
Are you angry? How do you feel really being treated this way? Underestimated and undermined? I won’t be surprised if you get angry about this.Heavens know I would be.
Bible, how does it feel knowing and having every of God’s secrets? Is it a burden to you? Do you think you could do with a little less?
Do you think I am worthy of what God wrote about me?
Are you an exact representation of God’s thoughts?
And yeah! About that, how does it feel to know God’s thoughts? Are you happy? What do you wish for? Bible, you are written in different translations. Do they all have exact records of God’s thoughts? Bible, what translation would you rather be?
Well, I am curious. Bible, do you know you have a lot of contradicting facts?
Like in a verse, you could say one thing and in another, say another. Like see this for instance, in Ephesians 2:8, 9, it is written, “For by grace are ye saved through faith…not of works” and then in James 2:24, it is written, “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”
Or this one which it is the most baffling of all scriptures, in Proverbs 26:4, “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.” And then in verse 5 of the same chapter, it is written that, “Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.”
Like…what am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to believe? Which one should I practicalize?
Yeah you would say I am supposed to read scriptures with the help of the Holy Spirit which is super true but still!
Don’t think I don’t know that I need you. It is pretty much the reason for this letter. So just help me with you.
I want to understand you. God is using you to talk to me. So please, just help a believer out. You are indispensable.
I need you to survive this world. It is hard to deal with life without you.
So you can get how frustrating it can be when I don’t understand you.
So yeah, it is it for now.Just wanted you to know.

Your fan,
A child of God.

This is so real. Out of heart. I pray that with time the Bible would reveal itself and himself to you. It won’t be hard to understand him but it would be so easy and joyful.
